1. Can you teach me to use the 3ML editor.
No. Just no.
Someone was kind enough to make a video for beginners. It is a very good overview of the 3ML editor.

2. How do I copy the music from here? (also phrased as "Why don't you have 3 chords?")
All the MML music here is in MML Block format.
The song boxes are coded to highlight when they are clicked. Just copy (Ctrl+C) and then either:
1. open the 3ML editor and use the File -> Import MML from Clipboard (RECOMENDED METHOD)
or
2. open a blank scroll with Composing in Mabi and use the "copy from clipboard" button.
Note: if your compose skill isn't high enough then it will drop the end out of the song when doing method 2.

3. I get "Invalid Clipboard Format" when doing the copy into Mabi. How do I get around this?
The textboxes for the songs are not 100% compatible with every browser, so the copy into the clipboard will sometimes take on html or other garbage.
The best work around is: after you copy the song use the 3ml editor to import from the clipboard. That will parse out the junk that came along with the copy.
At that point you can copy chord for chord or use F7 to copy a clean block into the clipboard for composing in Mabi.
The 2nd best work around is to copy the song out and paste it into a notepad. Once there you can parse it manually by removing the MML@ tag and separating the
chords at the commas.

4. Can you make my request of "insert anime/game/off the wall garage band" song?
I'll be honest. No. I do not take requests here at all.
The only requests I am making at this moment are for my Goddess. Even with just those, there are songs I want to make for her but there are no midi files of them. I will be very lucky to even find sheet music for some of them (I can't read guitar tabs yet).
With the proper incentive (huge amounts of money should work) I will pretend to be interested enough to investigate your request.
If you find an appropriate way to contact me AND if I like a song AND there is a good Midi version then I might be able to make a MML version, if I can find the time.
Even with all those "if"s, a bribe will be required.

5. How do I get in touch with you for (insert random reason)?
The only method open to get in touch with me from here is by leaving a comment on the blog. I have set those to be moderated before they show so I will see them before anyone else. Those comments should be safe for private contact data if you are going to send me huge amounts of money to do a song (see question 4 for requirements). Remeber to use U.S. dollars for any bribes you intend to use with me.
6. I need the Music Knowledge skill. Can you Give me 80k?
I spend most of my time in-game so broke that I can barely pay attention. No, I will not give you money. Count yourself lucky that I accept your gold on those occasions that I perform with the begger box out. Besides, even if I wanted to give away my hard-earned game-gold, you would have to be in the Mari server, online when I am, in the same channel, and at the same town.
To get the Music Knowledge skill:
You can either buy the "Music Theory" book at one of the 5 available locations for 80k, OR you can get Aeira in Dunbarton to like you enough to give you the book (which costs considerably less). Getting her to like you is very similar to gaining access to a secret shop. In this case, the shop is accessed by the skill keyword instead of shopping or trading in a tab.
To prepair, go to Walter and buy as many gift puzzles and gift books as you can hold. Use pet inv as needed. Try to start with 8 or 10 and be prepaired to get more gifts. This is to save you 80k after all, you may have to spend some to make the savings work.
The process here is:
>> gift Aeira a puzzle or book (drag and drop seems to be best)
>> start a conversation
>> use the "personal story", "Nearby rumors", and "Skills" keywords
>> Repeat until you are out of gifts or she gives you the book
!!> if you run out of gifts get more from walter and keep going

7. There is a song listed in the titles, but it's not on the right page. Where is it?
All the songs on the "songs by title" page are on the site. Not all are listed in the rank page that fits them. If you want a listed song that's not in the rank listings then please look on the favorites page and in the holiday song list. I will eventually hotlink the songs to thier pages, but that is a ton of work and takes time that I don't typically have.
